Global Logistic System
GLS is a total solution for your logistics administration.
It is founded on folders, items, handlings and activities to be able to handle your logistic flow.
The main streams are Terminal operating system (TOS), Cruise/Harbour management, Warehousing management, Agency, Forwarding and Inland shipping. Besides the main stream modules GLS provides the possibility to plan/manage a container yard, plan container vessels and even manage your berths using berth planning. GLS is able to exchange information with other systems using EDI: “EDIFACT”, “Excel”, “XML” and other formats. Resource management planning is available to plan and manage available human resources and equipment. Access control enables the terminal to manage the Gates.
GLS provides billing and invoicing of handlings, storage, distribution and Cruise/Harbour related services. GLS can also be used for Cost Control Purposes. All financial details can be exchanged to a finance system.
A web portal (web interface) can also be provided for browser based inquiry and input over the internet.
